Virginia , Lynchburg Job Description Project Manager - Heavy Civil / Site Development (Charlottesville / Lynchburg, VA Area) A growing heavy civil contractor in Central Virginia is looking to add a Project Manager due to continued growth. They focus on site development, utilities, excavation, paving, and concrete, with a strong backlog across the Charlottesville and Lynchburg areas.

Responsibilities:

Manage project budgets, schedules, and execution Oversee site work and keep projects on track Track changes, delays, and progress Handle owner billings and change orders Review subcontractor and vendor invoices Coordinate with owners, subs, and internal teams

Project Experience:

Utilities (water, sewer, storm) Excavation, grading, paving, and concrete Projects up to ~$10-15M

Qualifications:

6+ years of construction experience (civil/site preferred) Utilities experience strongly preferred Ability to read plans/specs and perform takeoffs Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractors Strong Excel and computer skills Self-starter with strong communication skills Estimating experience is a plus
