Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead and inspire our talented team of Design, Configuration Management (CM), and Design Quality Assurance (DQA) teams. In this pivotal role, you will focus on employee development, project execution, and strategic planning, ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The scope of work includes new product development, product transition to production, and heritage product sustainment in a DoD environment. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance Impact of the Role General Profile Manages professional employees andor supervisors Must have at least one professional expert or one supervisor as a direct report Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from manager Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues andor customers Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Manages and coordinates design, development, and enhancement of new and existing productsproduct lines. Manages the evaluation of design feasibility and design optimization. Ensures team meets project milestones and completes projects within established timeline. Evaluates issues, provides resolution, and communicates to stakeholders. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Engineers, Designers and Configuration Management Specialists; foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Project Execution:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of materials as it relates to the projects the team supports. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education ∨ Experience Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree

DisciplineMajor:

Engineering Design or other Engineering degree Other Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Expertise with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments Background with CAD related products Working knowledge of digital transformation topics such as model based definition, digital threads, digital twins, etc.

Strategic Planning:

develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and improve engineering processes; align engineering initiatives with the broader company vision and goals; assess emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
