Mechanical Engineering Manager ENERCON $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 /Yr. United States, Washington, Kennewick 8101 West Quinault Avenue (Show on map) Mar 12, 2026 Overview Our Nuclear Services Group is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, your leadership will not only drive project success, but it will also help us achieve overall business goals. This position can be located in one of the following locations: Lake Mary, FL Kennesaw, GA Palm Beach Gardens, FL FT Worth, TX Naperville, IL Chattanooga, TN San Luis Obispo, CA Glendale, AZ Kennewick, WA Responsibilities Imagine a day where you lead a dynamic team, balancing priorities, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines while driving project success. You're the key liaison, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships. Your leadership fosters growth, solves technical challenges, and ensures your unit thrives, delivering outstanding results and advancing both individual and company success.
Leadership & Motivation:
Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards
Collaboration & Coordination:
Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projects
Communication:
Lead various internal engineering disciplines and delegate project roles
Design & Estimating:
Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates
Procurement & Specifications:
Develop mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment
Technical Expertise:
Perform mechanical design and calculations to solve complex technical problems
Field Engagement:
Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up #LI-SH7 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent work and training in a related role Minimum of 6 years of design engineering experience with 2 years of leadership Experience in the nuclear industry Professional Engineering license Writing, presentation and communication skills Proficient in Word and Excel Pay Range USD $120,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
