Diesel Engineering Manager Reports to:
VP of Production and Parts Department Name:
Engineering Summary:
Oversees the design, development, production and technical support of complete value added power train solutions that utilize both represented and ancillary products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design complete diesel power train solutions to customer requirements Research and integrate new and/or emerging technologies in the diesel industry, marine and power generation markets Collaborate with salesmen to form and present technical solutions to customer Develop and maintain documentation of all engineering work performed/created Aid service department as needed Aid production department as needed Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities B.S.M.E with two plus years of experience or training Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Must be able to negotiate tight areas Possess working knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling and techniques Basic (or greater) fabrication/welding skills Basic (or greater) electrical/wiring skills Visibly maintain a professional appearance, providing a positive company image Job requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and light travel ISO Responsibilities Responsible for quality control, produce product to customer requirements Follow work instructions as noted in work areas Provide feedback gathered through field activity via customer complaint log Oversee training compliance of engineering staff Know and understand Cascade's Quality Policy Proactively participate in Corrective and Preventative Action programs Follow Control of Documents and Control of Records at all times Report discovery of non-conforming product and follow designated procedure Proactively participate in Preventative Maintenance program Participate in scheduled Management Review meetings Follow Cascade determined ISO standards #SEAWA
