Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Lead Proposal Engineer who owns the end-to-end execution of complex aerospace and defense proposals, serving as the central coordinator across engineering, operations, program management, and leadership. This role leads the overall proposal effort assembling technical content, ensuring compliance, and integrating inputs from chief engineers, technicians, and internal subject matter experts. The Lead Proposal Engineer performs a significant portion of the technical writing, interfaces with internal stakeholders to translate engineering concepts into compliant proposal language, and ultimately assembles and presents the final proposal package, occasionally at the executive or CEO level. Depending on site assignment, the role may support highly R D-driven, first-time designs or more production-oriented proposal efforts, requiring adaptability across varied program types and customers.
