DESCRIPTION
The Amazon Search team is responsible for helping customers find relevant products that meet their expectations in terms of price, quality, and convenience. Our goal is to make shopping easy and enable customers to shop with confidence. We are seeking a Principal TPM to join our team and leverage advanced machine learning (AI/ML), personalization, and ranking algorithms to enhance the Amazon search experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced environment, strong technical depth in ML systems, and a bias for action. Success in this role requires a customer-centric approach, innovative thinking, and effective communication across technical and business stakeholders. This is a highly technical role that may require a technical assessment. Key job responsibilities Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs that help the organization meet its long-term goals. Partner with technical, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver results at scale. Collaborate with science, engineering, product, and UX design to implement scalable, and efficient solutions to key customer problems in search. Define KPIs and metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement and provide actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights. Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution. In this role, you will address customer challenges, define strategic vision, prioritize investments in ML and personalization technology, and create innovative search experiences globally across all devices. As a leader, you will promote teamwork, collaboration, and commitment among diverse teams, ultimately delivering satisfying customer experiences. You will have full ownership from strategy development to execution, performance assessment, and daily oversight of search relevance programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of technical program management experience 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience 5+ years of software development experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
