Job Description

We are seeking a
VDC / BIM
Coordinator with deep experience supporting large, complex semiconductor facility design projects. This role is embedded within our Digital Delivery team and is responsible for leading model-based coordination efforts during design, with a strong emphasis on facilitating clash detection workflows and running structured coordination meetings across multi-disciplinary stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of engineering design processes, high-density MEP systems, and the ability to guide teams toward coordinated, constructible design solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead design-phase clash detection and coordination workflows across multi-discipline engineering models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural). Plan, facilitate, and run recurring coordination meetings with internal engineering teams, external consultants, clients, and trade partners. Aggregate and manage federated models, ensuring alignment with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client standards. Identify clashes, design conflicts, and spatial constraints early in the design process, and drive resolution through collaboration with discipline leads. Track coordination issues, assign accountability, and monitor resolution progress to maintain design schedules. Develop and maintain coordination logs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for project leadership and clients. Support model-based design reviews, including constructability, operability, and maintainability considerations. Contribute to the development and enforcement of company BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and QA/QC procedures. Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on BIM best practices and coordination processes. Demonstrated experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facility design, or similar.
Advanced proficiency with:
Autodesk Revit (multi-discipline model navigation and coordination) Navisworks Manage (clash detection, viewpoints, and reporting) Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 (model management and collaboration) Proven experience leading coordination meetings and facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration. Strong understanding of complex building systems, particularly HVAC, process piping, and electrical distribution in high-tech environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into clear design actions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with semiconductor clients or tool vendors. Exposure to model-based design reviews, digital twins, or asset data integration. Experience with interoperability workflows (e.g., IFC, data exchanges between platforms). Knowledge of reality capture integration (laser scanning) within design validation.
