Job Description

Architectural Project Manager:
Key Responsibilities Planning and Scheduling Defining project scope and developing comprehensive work plans and milestones from Pre-Design/Programming through to Post Occupancy. Strategically managing internal labor hours and consultant workflows to ensure deliverables meet deadlines without scope creep. Financial & Risk Management • Develop fee estimates for proposals and manage budgets to keep projects profitable. Reviewing and managing owner-architect agreements and the execution of additional service requests. Stakeholder and Client Management Serving as the primary interface between the client, owner's representatives, and the design team to ensure alignment on vision and budget. Leading the integration of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), structural, and civil engineering systems into the architectural set. Leadership & Mentorship • Assemble project teams, assign tasks, and oversee technical work by staff and consultants. Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC)
Code Compliance:
Performing rigorous reviews of drawings and specifications for adherence to ADA, IBC, and local zoning ordinances.
Constructability Reviews:
Verifying that design intent is technically sound and can be built within the established budget and timeline. Construction Phase Administration Conducting site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to contract documents, and resolve field conflicts. Manage the high-volume flow of RFIs, Submittals, and ASI (Architect's Supplemental Instructions) to prevent construction delays. Manage project close-out documents. Qualifications Experience & Education 8-10+ years in an architectural firm with a proven track record of managing projects of increasing complexity. Professional degree - Bachelor Architecture or Masters Architecture. NCARB certification and State Licensure are highly preferred. Technical Proficiency Proficient in Revit (BIM 360/Construction Cloud) and AutoCAD. Microsoft Project or other scheduling software. Industry Knowledge Advanced understanding of building envelopes, material assemblies, and MEP system integration. • Strong negotiation, public speaking, and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
