Boeing Defense, Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Quality Manager to support the E-7 Quality team in Tukwila, WA! The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the business, inter-relationship between organizational functions, manage competing priorities, and enforce quality requirements. They will also work collaboratively across a variety of functions and levels within the organization and with multiple US and foreign government customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the team on the integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops and implements program compliance strategy by interpreting requirements, reviewing trends, and incorporating customer feedback. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. Manages the team to analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Manages first-line managers and employees performing quality activities on or in support of programs through all phases of product lifecycle Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Interfaces with Program Management, Operations, Quality, Engineering, regulatory agencies and suppliers/partners to resolve issues impacting airplane build, test and delivery. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry More than 3 years of experience in leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within a manufacturing environment More than 3 years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS) More than 1 year of experience working with Defense contracts and customer requirements Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with advanced analytics in a manufacturing environment Direct experience performing in quality engineering, manufacturing operations, production engineering, project management, system engineering, or change management Earned Value Management & Cost Account Manager experience (EVM/CAM) Experience with surveillance and compliance audits and/or process monitoring Active Secret Security Clearance or higher. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Summary pay range:
