Job Description
Job Title Project Manager - Capital Projects Job Description As a Project Manager for Capital Projects, you will oversee a significant annual CAPEX spend of $25-30 million. Your role will involve ensuring financial efficiency, developing forecasts, and tracking expenditures while supporting strategic investment decisions. You will also be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve successful project execution. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all phases of capital project delivery, from initiation through to commissioning and closeout. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, constraints, and bottlenecks. Allocate internal and external resources effectively to maximize productivity and minimize delays. Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, procurement, and finance. Provide direction, coaching, and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure all deliverables meet engineering, safety, and regulatory standards. Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels. Skills and Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred. Project management skills Proficiency in CAPEX and budget management. Experience in engineering and mechanical engineering. Minimum of 5 years in project management, leadership roles, or related experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Work Environment You will work in a dynamic environment that requires collaboration with various departments such as engineering, operations, procurement, and finance. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills to ensure project success and compliance with all regulatory standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ripon, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
