Position Overview The CI Engineer plays a critical role in shaping how our operations evolve and excel. This role is designed for a high performer who thrives on tackling complex challenges, influencing direction, and driving measurable impact across the business. You will lead large-scale, cross-functional improvement initiatives that strengthen our operational performance, elevate our culture of excellence, and directly contribute to strategic business outcomes. In this role, you won't just support change — you will •lead it•. You will collaborate with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, and senior management to identify opportunities, remove roadblocks, and drive sustainable results that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Your work will accelerate our transformation and help set the standard for CI across the region.

Key Responsibilities Lead High-Impact CI Projects Drive complex CI initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, and reliability. Use advanced Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and streamline processes. Serve as a strategic advisor to operations and functional leaders on performance improvement opportunities. Own project outcomes from scoping through execution, validation, and long-term sustainment. Accelerate Business Performance Through Data & Insight Analyze operational, financial, and process data to identify gaps and prioritize high-value opportunities. Develop and maintain performance dashboards that inform decision-making and highlight improvement areas. Translate insights into actionable plans that directly influence site and regional priorities. Build CI Capability & Influence Culture Coach teams on problem-solving tools, Lean principles, and structured CI methodologies. Raise CI maturity by developing talent and building organizational capability. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational discipline. Standardize and Scale Best Practices Embed improvements into SOPs, work processes, and standards to ensure long-term sustainment. Replicate proven solutions across sites, enabling broader business impact. Partner with leaders to ensure systems and workflows support improved performance. Engage and Influence Key Stakeholders Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to align priorities and secure resources. Facilitate clear, compelling communication of project results and recommendations. Act as a change champion, influencing decision-makers and driving alignment around key initiatives. Support Regional Initiatives Although based at a site, travel may be required to support critical projects. Competencies Technical & Analytical Excellence Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making. Ability to synthesize complex data and convert insights into decisive action. Strong capability in mapping, diagnosing, and optimizing processes. Leadership & Influence Clear, confident communicator who can influence at all levels. Proven ability to lead through change and drive alignment across diverse teams. Comfortable challenging the status quo and inspiring others to do the same. Execution & Ownership Self-driven leader who operates with urgency and accountability. Skilled at managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results. Demonstrates strong judgment and a passion for operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience. 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; strong demonstrated CI leadership required. Track record of delivering measurable improvement in complex environments. Experience influencing senior leaders and driving organization-wide change. Reporting Structure This position has no direct reports but exerts strong influence across the organization.
