Energy Solutions is looking for an Arkansas-registered Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Environmental Division in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The applicants should have experience (4 to 5 years' experience) working in the environmental, mechanical, or civil engineering fields.
Senior-level duties will include:
management of existing environmental assessment and remediation projects; field investigation support and project oversight; preparation and review of technical documents; cost estimating; in-house assistance to other environmental division professionals; and liaison activities with regulatory agencies. Essential Functions Develop, write, and implement environmental projects from the conceptual phase through completion. Assess customer needs and present alternative solutions to complex problems Act as liaison between clients and regulatory agencies Work with multi-disciplinary project teams of scientists, engineers, geologists, and field personnel Project cost estimating Develop detailed design drawings Manage subcontractors and vendors to verify conformance with scopes of work Experience, Competencies, and Education Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering required Professional Engineer (PE) license required Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather Some overnight travel is required Ability to pass a drug screen & background check for this position Ability to work overtime as needed Must be detail oriented. Have strong communication skills. Work outside during all types of weather. Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others. Follow all company procedures.
