Apex is seeking a Senior Environmental/Remediation Engineer to be based in our Northern California region. Our Northern California division is home to a multidisciplinary team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers who collaborate on a wide variety of project types and environmental contaminants. Senior Environmental/Remediation Engineer:

Serve as senior technical lead on projects with revenue of $2M to $3M annually. Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $500K annually, with a focus on brownfields redevelopment, groundwater/soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources; Write and review technical reports and proposals. Assist with project management activities. Mentor and train technical staff and ensure quality work products. What we're looking for: BS in Engineering. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience with environmental/remediation services, including technical writing, technical oversight, project management, business development, and staff management. Experience with manufacturing, utility, oil & gas, municipal (including landfills) sites; petroleum and chlorinated solvent contaminants and Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) groups. California PE required Proven track record in business development and project management experience. Experience mentoring and developing staff. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to successfully multi-task Safety mindset and awareness and a good record and understanding of safe work practices. 40-hour
