Contents Technician

Company Overview We are a dedicated water and fire damage restoration company specializing in contents restoration and move-out services. Our team is committed to providing comprehensive recovery solutions to clients affected by property damage, ensuring a smooth and efficient restoration process. Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring, cleaning, and handling contents damaged by water, fire, mold, or other hazards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the restoration industry and demonstrate proficiency with various tools and techniques essential for effective contents management. They will also be able to drive our big box trucks. Ideally we'd like it if you had a class A drivers license. Responsibilities Perform cleaning, packing, inventory, and storage of damaged contents using appropriate methods and equipment Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized cleaning equipment to restore items affected by water, fire, or mold damage Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols and industry standards Assist with water damage restoration tasks such as drying, dehumidification, and moisture detection Support fire restoration efforts through debris removal and content cleaning processes Operate construction-related tools when necessary for content repair or stabilization Document all contents handling activities accurately for reporting and insurance purposes Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement procedures Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration-related devices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage contents efficiently Ability to follow safety guidelines and industry best practices during all procedures Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks required in restoration work Have a drivers license.
