Job Description

EnDyna, a woman-owned small business based in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Energy to support federal energy management and resiliency programs for a forthcoming Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency contract in the Washington, DC metro area. This program supports complex, multi-site federal environmental operations across compliance, sustainability, and resiliency initiatives. Position Overview This role provides engineering leadership in energy systems, conservation strategies, and infrastructure resiliency across federal facilities. Position Requirements Security Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance Education & Experience Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + PE License + 10+ years experience OR Master's in Mechanical Engineering + PE License + 8+ years experience Required Experience Leading contractor teams and developing energy strategies Technical expertise in: HVAC systems Building controls Chillers and chilled water systems Boilers and steam systems Utility metering and lighting Emergency power systems and data centers Performing life-cycle cost analyses and SIR calculations Identifying and implementing energy conservation measures Supporting energy security and resiliency initiatives Preferred Experience Preparing grant documentation for energy projects Experience with third-party financing agreements Compensation Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with education and experience and include paid leave, 401(k), and health insurance.
