Environmental Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Environmental Engineer for a large engineering consulting firm in Macon, GA. Day to day responsibilities include the following: Conduct and support environmental site investigations and remediation projects Perform hazardous response and brownfield remediation work Act as a technical mentor and teacher to junior site investigation and remediation staff Maintain and leverage relationships with regulatory agencies (EPD, EPA) Prepare, review, and finalize technical environmental reports Participate in marketing efforts and industry conferences Progress through the Terracon Approved Project Reviewer (APR) Program to review and sign off on reports locally in the Macon office (currently outsourced) Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
