Full-Time Job Summary We are a leading disaster restoration company seeking an experienced Restoration Supervisor to lead our emergency response and mitigation division. You will manage on-site field crews handling water extraction, fire/smoke damage cleanup, mold remediation, and storm response. You will ensure all mitigation work follows industry standards, safety protocols, and insurance guidelines while providing excellent service to stressed property owners.
Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership:
Direct and mentor field technicians on emergency water, fire, and mold mitigation projects.
Scope Execution:
Review and execute scopes of work based on industry standards and company guidelines.
Equipment Monitoring:
Oversee the placement, tracking, and daily monitoring of dehumidifiers, air movers, and specialty equipment.
Documentation:
Ensure accurate daily logs, moisture readings, psychrometric charts, and photo documentation are completed via restoration software.
Customer Service:
Explain the mitigation process to homeowners and property managers, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company safety policies.
On-Call Rotation:
Participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation to respond to urgent disaster calls.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in disaster restoration, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Certifications:
IICRC certifications—specifically WRT (Water Damage Restoration), FSRT (Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Technician), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying Technician) are highly preferred or required. OCT, CPT, CDS, and BMI are major plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of psychrometry, drying principles, and containment setup for mold or hazardous materials.
Software Skills:
Familiarity with restoration management platforms and digital moisture tracking.
Licensing:
