Job Description

Environmental Services Engineer Job Summary:
This is a on-site EVS Engineer role located in Shelbyville, IN. The EVS Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to environmental services and ensuring a clean and safe hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a clean and sanitized facility Adhering to infection control protocols Properly Manage waste disposal including biohazardous materials and general waste Operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors and other specialized cleaning equipment
Qualifications:
2 years previous EVS experience Ability to work effectively in a team setting Time Management Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills for logging and tracking tasks Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions Must have Driver's License, clean driving record, and Proof of Auto Insurance High school diploma or GED equivalent
