As a Lead Technician, you will be at the forefront of restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other disasters. Your expertise will guide and mentor team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining safety standards. This role offers an energetic environment where your skills in restoration, construction, and equipment operation will make a tangible difference for clients during their most challenging times. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement to ensure timely and efficient completion. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation with precision and attention to detail. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle damaged structures and prepare sites for restoration work. Conduct inspections of affected areas to assess damage severity and develop effective action plans. Oversee the use of construction materials and equipment, ensuring proper application and safety compliance throughout each project. Train and mentor junior technicians on proper restoration techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality control and client reporting. Experience Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong background in water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement. Hands-on knowledge of cleaning procedures including carpet cleaning and general surface sanitation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment relevant to restoration projects. Familiarity with industry standards for safety and environmental regulations related to asbestos abatement and mold remediation. Prior leadership experience as a technician or team lead is highly preferred. Ability to interpret technical instructions, blueprints, or project plans effectively.
