Resource Options is seeking an Environmental Engineer Consultant to support a wide range of environmental and engineering projects with a respected client in the Bridgewater, MA area. Responsibilities:
As an Environmental Engineer Consultant, you will support both field and office-based project work, contributing to environmental investigations, remediation efforts, and engineering solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in remedial design under the direction of a Professional Engineer Conducting field investigations, including soil, groundwater, and air sampling Supporting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Assisting with environmental remediation projects, including system design, implementation, and monitoring Preparing technical reports, data summaries, and regulatory documentation Performing engineering calculations and supporting the development of design plans Coordinating with subcontractors, laboratories, and project stakeholders Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations Maintaining accurate field notes, logs, and project documentation Supporting senior engineers and project managers with day-to-day project execution
Qualifications:
We are seeking motivated professionals with strong technical skills and a hands-on approach.
Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting or engineering experience Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification Strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards Experience with field sampling methods and environmental investigation techniques Proficiency with engineering software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 40-hour
HAZWOPER
certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience supporting remediation system design and implementation Familiarity with regulatory reporting and permitting processes Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Pay Range:
