Are you an experienced environmental engineer looking to take the lead on complex remediation projects in a dynamic, consulting-driven environment? We are seeking a Remedial Engineer to support and lead a variety of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor remediation projects across diverse sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level professional to apply technical expertise in remedial design while managing projects, collaborating with clients and regulators, and mentoring junior staff. As a Remedial Engineer, your work will support both the design and execution of remediation strategies across a variety of environmental projects.Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and designing remedial strategies for soil, groundwater, and soil vapor contamination Conducting site assessments, including soil and groundwater sampling and analysis Preparing detailed technical reports, including: Remedial design plans Cost estimates Project schedules Overseeing the implementation of remediation projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards Collaborating with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of remediation efforts and making necessary adjustments Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff and project teamsQualifications:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities.Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field (Master's degree a plus) Professional Engineer (PE) license (required) Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remedial design for soil, groundwater, and soil vapor projects Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards Proficiency in environmental modeling and design software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with a range of remedial technologies, including: In Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) Bioremediation Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) Air Sparging Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRBs) Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) In Situ Stabilization (ISS) Consulting experience with multi-site project exposure Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies and managing complex remediation programs Strong technical writing and report preparation skillsPay Range:
