Job Title:
Environmental Engineer Job Description The Environmental Engineer will work in schools over the summer, performing air sampling in an environment free of children. They will be responsible for all necessary documentation required by general contractors. Responsibilities Conduct air sampling in various school environments. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted to general contractors. Collaborate with clients and contractors on job sites. Maintain organization and self-motivation while tracking testing and paperwork. Adapt to working alone or with another team member, depending on the project. Essential Skills 2,000 hours of work experience in a construction-related role such as demolition, safety, or carpentry. Bachelor's degree in physical or life sciences, engineering, or architecture with 500 hours of relevant work experience. Enrollment in a relevant academic program seeking an internship. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in environmental science or engineering. Familiarity with construction and environmental engineering concepts. Bachelor's degree in engineering, land development, or landscape. Work Environment The role involves working on job sites with other clients and contractors. Candidates should be self-motivated and organized, capable of managing testing and documentation independently. Some projects may require working alone or with a colleague. Occasional overnight travel might be required, with travel time and expenses, including meals, being covered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
