Job Description
We are looking for a Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role works with multidisciplinary teams to deliver treatment and distribution systems that meet regulatory requirements and project objectives. The position is suited for someone with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple project phases. The goal is to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant water systems for municipal and private sector clients. Responsibilities Design and develop wastewater treatment systems, collection systems, and related infrastructure Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess existing conditions and project requirements Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycle Review and interpret environmental regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards Assist with permitting processes and regulatory submissions Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades Utilize engineering software and modeling tools for system design and analysis Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and project closeout Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in water or wastewater engineering Experience with wastewater treatment design, collection systems, or water infrastructure projects Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools Strong understanding of hydraulic modeling and system design principles Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
