We're looking for an early-career Environmental Engineer or Scientist in the Corvallis, Oregon Jacobs office to perform laboratory treatability studies associated with site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients. These projects mimic real-world remediation treatments on the bench-top to provide inputs for full-scale treatment design. You'll interact with Jacobs' technical experts to develop field sampling and test plans then execute the tests, coordinating between project, analytical laboratory, and vendor groups to ensure high-quality delivery of test results. As data comes in, you'll be the first to first to plot it up and see the story come together. You'll showcase this work through project updates, technical reports, presentations, and sometimes a journal publication, each helping the engineering team to gain key insights for the design of a remedial strategy and strengthening the technical foundation of the company. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
