We are looking for:
The Environmental Engineer will support environmental permitting, compliance, and field programs for manufacturing and industrial operations. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and supporting environmental performance goals. The position includes both office and field work, such as environmental sampling, regulatory reporting, compliance testing, participation in audits and emergency response.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (air, water, waste), including recordkeeping, evaluations, reporting, and emissions testing. Prepare and support permit applications for new and existing projects (NSR, Title V, state/local permits). Monitor and communicate regulatory changes; utilize Management of Change (MOC) and tracking tools. Conduct environmental sampling (soil, water, hazardous waste) and limited air monitoring; coordinate laboratory shipments and evaluate results. Write technical reports, including site investigations and compliance documentation. Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, and emergency response rotations. Review operational changes for regulatory compliance; recommend and implement corrective actions. Develop and manage site policies, work instructions, training and compliance plans. Liaise with regulatory agencies and support internal/external regulatory assessments. You can count on us for: We offer the opportunity to join an exciting growth company A full range of benefits as expected of a successful company Opportunities for growth and learning Encouraging a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects individual differences and backgrounds You will bring: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years' experience in environmental compliance, permitting (NSR, Title V, TPDES, UIC, etc), emissions inventories and regulatory inspections/investigations, preferably in industrial settings. Strong knowledge of/experience implementing federal and state environmental regulations (CAA, RCRA, TPDES, NESHAP, UIC, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ICS Training and/or emergency response experience a plus.
You will get:
Competitive salary and benefits package The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $98,720 to $123,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations Training platform for all employees Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)
