Job Description

This role supports the planning, design, and execution of remediation programs at complex contaminated sites. The position offers a blend of technical leadership, hands-on field involvement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams across projects of varying size and complexity.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and evaluate remediation strategies, including design documents and technical specifications tailored to site-specific conditions.

Lead the engineering effort for remedial systems from concept through implementation, including system optimization and performance evaluation.

Support construction and installation activities by coordinating field efforts, reviewing work plans, and resolving technical challenges as they arise.

Oversee operation and maintenance activities for active remedial systems, providing direction to technical staff and ensuring compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.

Serve as a technical resource within project teams, contributing to design decisions, troubleshooting efforts, and overall project execution.

Assist with proposal development, budgeting, and cost estimating for small to mid-sized remediation projects.

Design and manage pilot testing and treatability studies to inform remedial design decisions.

Prepare technical documentation and periodic progress reports for submission to regulatory agencies.

Balance office-based engineering work with field support as required to meet project needs and schedules.

QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering.15+ years of experience supporting environmental remediation projects, with industrial or Oil & Gas site experience strongly preferred.

PE/PG preferred.

Strong technical writing skills, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.
