Senior Environmental Engineer DSJ Global - 4.0 Hampton, VA Job Details $100,000 - $150,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications EHS Environmental legislation Environmental compliance Bachelor's degree Leading team collaboration initiatives Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Environmental Engineer Hampton, VA (On-site) We're partnering with a leading aerospace component manufacturing company to find a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team in Hampton, VA. This is a high-impact role where you will drive environmental compliance, lead sustainability initiatives, and support continuous improvement across a complex manufacturing operation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead environmental compliance across air, wastewater, stormwater, chemical, and waste programs Partner with plant leadership to promote EHS culture and continuous improvement Manage wastewater treatment systems and environmental monitoring activities Oversee regulatory reporting, permitting, and agency interactions Deliver training and lead cross-functional environmental initiatives Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of environmental/EHS experience , ideally in manufacturing Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations Experience managing air, water, wastewater, or waste programs Ability to communicate effectively and lead initiatives across teams
