Job Description:
Pay Range:
$28-31 Pay based on experience Must be local to Stratford, CT Position is 100 onsite.
Experience:
A Jr Engineer with experience in 3D modeling, w/ a background in human factors engineering / research.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, will consider stem degree w/ 3DX or CATIA
Shift:
1st Shift•Mon-Thurs 500am•330pm some OT on FRIs or SATs Open to US Citizens only
THE COMPANY
•Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. Seeking a candidate to work as a Jr Systems Engineer to support our team with a background in 3D modeling in 3DX, CATIA or equivalent platforms. The selected individual will work as part of a dynamic team supporting systems integration activities for military aircraft platforms. The candidate will apply human performance principles, biomechanics, and advanced 3D modeling tools to create anthropometrically accurate virtual humans and ensure optimal fit, reach, visibility, and ergonomics within aircraft cockpits and cabin environments. Duties involve human engineering requirements development and interpretation, 3D modeling, anthropometric analysis, hardware design as well as providing support to test and verification activities. The role bridges human factors research, biomechanical analysis, and design engineering to deliver human centric solutions for next generation flight deck and cabin concepts.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Engineering other STEM degree 0-3 yrs experience doing systems Engineering Experience with: 3D modeling in 3DX, CATIA or equivalent platforms Pass drug screen & background check Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
