You must possess an active, recognized ergonomic certification (CEA, CPE, CAE, or COEE).
Quantifiable Experience:
You must have a minimum of 2 years of professional, hands-on experience conducting in-person ergonomic evaluations. About the Role ErgonomicWorks is seeking high-caliber, certified local experts to join our elite consultant network. We deliver premium workspace risk-mitigation assessments across corporate office environments and industrial/warehouse settings. We look for technical professionals who take pride in "before and after" transformations, drive workforce vitality and flow, and deliver legally defensible, high-standard data models on strict timelines.
The ErgonomicWorks Compensation Model Classification:
1099 Independent Contractor.
Fixed Rate:
$200.00 per completed project.
All-Inclusive Flat Fee:
This fee covers the comprehensive on-site evaluation, technical metric reporting, and all travel/mileage expenses. No additional expense reimbursements are provided. Daily earning potential ranges from $600.00 to $800.00 depending on your scheduling velocity. Key Responsibilities & Performance Timelines To maintain our premier standing and client service level agreements (SLAs), consultants must adhere to the following strict timeline metrics:
Prompt Scheduling:
Initiate contact with the assigned corporate employee within 48 hours of receiving the case files.
On-Site Execution:
Complete the physical, in-person workspace evaluation within 5 business days of assignment.
Technical Reporting:
Draft and submit high-quality, legally defensible assessment reports using our proprietary template (including spatial measurements, anthropometric alignments, and "Before/After" photography) within 4 days of the site visit. Required Technical Qualifications Certification (Mandatory): Active Certified Ergonomic Associate ( CEA ), Certified Professional Ergonomist ( CPE ), CAE , or COEE designation. Experience (Mandatory): 2-3 years of professional experience conducting documented, in-person ergonomic evaluations.
Geographic Proximity:
Proven physical residence within 10 miles of Sacramento, CA.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with Cal/OSHA Title 8 Section 5110 standards and ergonomics injury prevention parameters.
Language Skills:
Absolute native English proficiency with a mastery of technical, objective, and professional reporting writing styles.
Logistics:
Reliable personal transportation, a smartphone with a high-resolution camera, and a reputation for flawless corporate punctuality.
