Job Type:
Full-Time Contract Overview We are seeking a Facilities Engineer with Alaska North Slope experience to support a major oil & gas development program focused on drilling, completions, and surface facilities integration. This role supports well tie-ins (WTI), frac, flowback, and drillsite operations, with a strong emphasis on execution planning, SIMOPS coordination, and field readiness. Key Responsibilities Support 90-day execution planning for development drilling campaigns Provide surface facilities engineering support for
SIMOPS:
Well tie-ins (WTI) Drillsite facilities Temporary and permanent infrastructure Frac and flowback systems Piping E&I Evaluate technical scope, cost, and constructability of facilities Assist with SIMOPS planning and risk mitigation Identify execution risks and drive practical, field-ready solutions Work cross-functionally with drilling, completions, facilities, and operations teams Support pre-drill planning and execution readiness Travel to North Slope operations as required Required Qualifications 10+ years of Alaska North Slope experience with a strong understanding of drillsite operations and surface facilities/infrastructure from drilling through production 3+ years of facilities or operations experience on the Alaska North Slope Strong awareness of safe work practices in drillsite operations, including frac, flowback, piping, and associated well operations Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-discipline, multi-function project teams Experience developing and implementing practical, operable, and technically sound solutions for surface facilities installations Strong analytical skills, including the ability to leverage technology to enhance engineering and decision-making performance Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and follow-through on commitments Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities, scopes, and project demands Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity, resolve conflict, and drive decisions Effective multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach Ability and willingness to travel to the North Slope and other domestic locations as needed Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or related)
