Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventative and routine maintenance on Colimatic machines. You will also build new machines or adapt current machines for different products, ensuring both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks are efficiently executed. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on Colimatic machines. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Build new machines or adapt current machines to suit different product requirements. Execute both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, 110 volt-220 volt circuits, and hydraulics. Perform facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing and drywall repairs. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. Experience with mechanical repair and preventive maintenance techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and hydraulics systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with Colimatic machines. Knowledge of facility maintenance, including plumbing and drywall. Why Work Here? This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire position with potential for long-term employment after 5 months. Work Environment The role requires working in a clean room where clean room gear must be worn at all times. Initial training takes place on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm for several weeks, eventually transitioning to the 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
