Location:
Southern California Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support construction project execution by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and assisting Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Manage document control:
track, organize, and distribute project documents Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes Collect and process submittals from vendors and subcontractors Assist with RFIs, proposals, budgets, and project schedules Communicate project updates to internal teams and clients Support project closeout documentation and deliverables Ensure all project information is accurate, organized, and up to date Promote clear communication and a collaborative project environment Requirements Experience in construction project support or project engineering Strong document control experience required Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/document management tools Familiarity with scheduling software (Microsoft Project preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally
