This is a great opportunity for a skilled hospitality or facilities professional who takes pride in preventive maintenance, life safety, and creating a seamless guest experience. What You'll Do As Chief Engineer, you'll oversee all aspects of hotel engineering, maintenance, and building operations, including: Lead daily operations of the Engineering department Manage preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems Maintain and operate cooling/heating towers and central mechanical systems Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety requirements, and local regulations Manage vendor relationships and service contracts Support budgeting, purchasing, and expense controls Respond to and resolve guest room and building maintenance issues Train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members Participate in on-call emergency response as needed
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer , or similar facilities leadership role (hotel experience preferred) Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification required Strong experience with HVAC mechanical systems, including cooling/heating towers Working knowledge of: Boilers, chillers, pumps, and building automation systems Electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance trades Fire/life safety systems and compliance standards Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance mindset Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings/weekends as needed Preferred Hotel engineering experience in branded/select-service or full-service properties EPA certification a plus Experience with CMMS, work order systems, and preventive maintenance software Why Join Us?

Compensation:
$95-105K In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire
