Responsible for all aspects of the Engineering Department to include but not limited to, maintaining all facilities, equipment, furniture, fixtures, systems at the highest quality standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent/HVAC licensure/Universal CFC Certification English Speaking is Pre-Intermediate At least 3 years in Engineering/Facilities maintenance field Leadership Personality Hotel Working Experiences Job Responsibilities Provide support to Area Director of Engineer Manage adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools and material for the department Enforce Hotel Company policies and procedures Must be able to respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, and other life-safety situations and notify the proper authorities in such cases. Maintain the Hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a professional image at all times. Perform repairs in the aspect of plumbing, heating, HVAC, guest room maintenance. Communicate effectively to all departments regarding engineering tasks. Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team Understand and operate certain central plant equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry objects, and stand for extended periods. Handle all mechanic areas. Provide preventative maintenance on mechanical related heat pumps, motors, fans. Support all department concerns. Address guest issues related to engineering promptly and efficiently. Empower staff to maintain high service standards and respond effectively to service requests or emergencies.
