About Us Kamm Consulting is a growing MEP engineering consulting firm headquartered in Deerfield Beach with a branch office located in Ft. Pierce. With nearly 50 professionals and a diverse project portfolio across Florida and the United States, we deliver mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. We are at an exciting stage of growth and are expanding our engineering team. The Opportunity We are seeking a Plumbing Designer or Engineerwith 2-6 years of MEP consulting experience to join our Deerfield Beach team. This is a hands-on design and production role with real responsibility and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects from schematic design through construction. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers while developing the technical and coordination skills needed to take ownership of your scope as you grow within the firm. What You'll Do Produce design and construction documents for Plumbing systems using Revit/BIM and AutoCAD workflows Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing appropriate to your discipline Coordinate with other MEP disciplines as well as architectural and structural teams to maintain design integrity Support project managers with technical input during client coordination, RFI responses, and submittal reviews Participate in construction administration including site visits, RFI/submittal review, and punch list support Contribute to internal quality control and coordination efforts Continue developing knowledge of applicable codes and standards (FBC - Plumbing, IPC) What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in MEP consulting, building systems design, or design-build environments Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM coordination and clash detection experience are a plus Working knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or related engineering field preferred EIT certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing PE licensure encouraged to apply Experience with commercial, residential, institutional, or mixed-use projects is preferred Strong communication and coordination skills in a multi-discipline environment Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in growing technically and professionally What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Employer-sponsored health insurance, PTO, 401(k) with matching, and paid holidays Hybrid flexibility after onboarding Support for EIT examination and PE licensure pursuit A collaborative environment where your work is visible and your contributions matter Exposure to a varied project portfolio To Apply Please submit your resume or reach out to engineering@kammconsulting.com
