In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, performing routine inspections, and implementing repairs to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional aquatic experiences for residents or clients while adhering to all safety regulations and industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing equipment to identify issues proactively. Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), wiring, switches, and sensors to ensure seamless system operation. Perform mechanical repairs involving piping, valves, motors, and other equipment using welding techniques when necessary. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting or minor carpentry as needed for pool area upkeep. Supervise or assist with team members during maintenance projects while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting with hands-on experience working with schematics and ohmmeters. Skilled in welding techniques for repairing or fabricating pool components. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated pool systems. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical wiring plans effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members and clients. Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within maintenance teams. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
