Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project and/or construction management consultation services of a single major program or project or multiple projects. Provide consultation regarding business, technical and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities. Responsible for overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule. Maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports. Support the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight. Demonstrate knowledge of VA standards, FAR, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. Provide proficiency in reading drawings, specifications, and construction schedules. Qualifications to be successful in the role: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University or 10 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree. Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of Florida. Minimum of 7 years' experience in management of facility construction projects Experience in Utility Boiler Plant on Federal or Healthcare Facilities Experience in supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management and program budgeting, and overall project management activities. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with project construction team members. Must possess a valid driver's license. Why Planate?
