Hotel Arya combines personalized service with the flexibility and modern amenities today's travelers expect, driven by a commitment to maximizing guest satisfaction and profitabilityTHE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership role where the Chief of Engineering owns the full physical infrastructure of Hotel Arya. You will be the first line of accountability for issues, the owner of the preventive maintenance program, and the leader responsible for keeping every space guest-ready daily. You will serve as the infrastructure backbone for the property, working directly with the General Manager and coordinating external vendors to ensure the property runs at the expected standard.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and oversee hands-on repairs across the property, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool, and exterior upkeep. Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule to proactively eliminate guest-facing problems. Source, schedule, and supervise external vendors and subcontractors, holding them accountable to quality, cost, and timing standards. Act as the first responder for urgent maintenance issues that affect guest experience or property safety. Ownership — Takes full responsibility for the physical condition of the property. Identifies issues proactively, follows through to resolution, and never waits to be told twice. Service Mindset — Understands that every repair, every response time, and every unresolved issue has a direct impact on the guest experience. Treats maintenance as a hospitality function, not just a technical one. Excellence — Fixes things properly, not temporarily. Takes pride in work quality and holds vendors to the same standard. A patch is not a solution. Teamwork — Communicates clearly and proactively with the Operations and Housekeeping teams. No surprises, no silos. Keeps everyone informed so the property runs as one unit. Resourcefulness — Finds the right solution within budget. Creative under constraint, cost-aware by default.
