Job Description Position Summary The Facilities Engineer - Mechanical Focus provides engineering leadership and daily technical support for facility infrastructure and production support systems, with primary emphasis on mechanical systems, utilities, HVAC, capital equipment installations, and reliability engineering. This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and external contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Provide technical ownership of mechanical facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water, sewage, refrigeration, and general plant utilities
Troubleshoot and resolve chronic mechanical equipment and facility issues that impact safety, quality, cost, and delivery
Lead the mechanical scope of capital equipment installations, ensuring compliance with safety, design, workmanship, and schedule requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical assets
Coordinate and manage outside contractors and engineering service providers for facility upgrades and repairs
Develop and manage mechanical project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial and purchasing procedures
Support safety and environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; actively participate in 6S activities
Create and maintain engineering documentation, maintenance standards, and technical procedures
Provide handson support and leadership within a crossfunctional manufacturing environment Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
5+ years of facilities or manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, utilities, and rotating equipment
Experience developing or supporting preventive/predictive maintenance programs
Proven capital project and equipment installation experience
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or 6S methodologies
