Job Description

IDR is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Duluth, Georgia . This role focuses on ensuring HVAC/refrigeration products meet required compliance and testing standards, partnering closely with third-party test labs and internal stakeholders to support annual testing and verification activities. Position Overview for the Senior Compliance Engineer Own and support compliance efforts tied to HVAC/refrigeration systems , including applicable testing standards and requirements Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories to support ongoing and annual testing cycles Ensure equipment remains properly listed and in compliance , including supporting verification testing when products are selected for third-party review Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and business partners to document requirements, align on testing plans, and drive timely follow-through Travel up to ~25% as needed to support testing activity and stakeholder needs Requirements for the Senior Compliance Engineer 5+ years of relevant engineering/compliance experience (7-10 years preferred) Strong knowledge of AHRI testing criteria/standards (highly desired) HVAC experience with an emphasis on refrigeration systems and testing standards Prior experience working with or supporting test labs (highly preferred) Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams Bachelor's degree required (Mechanical Engineering preferred) Work Schedule Primarily onsite Monday-Thursday with remote Fridays (subject to client policy) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
