Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Intern- Operations and Maintenance Engineering for Summer, 2026.
Mission:
Contribute to the preparation of O&M documentation on the basis of internal standards and contractual requirementsAccountabilities:
- Analyze the field data in order to ensure the definition, for each equipment the maintenance needs, of the correct failure rate.
- Contribute to the preparation of a field analysis report
- Contribute to O&M documentation and participate in internal design reviews, including documentation of minutes and actions
- Contribute to the preparation of O&M Management Plan, Operation Plans, Maintenance Plan, Training plans, Spare Parts and Special Tools list
- Participate to projects, bidding and delivery phases within project schedule Required skills/experience:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate complex technical information
- Strong relevant technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Education:
- Current Engineering student at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December, 2026 and December, 2027
Languages:
