Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Intern
  • Operations and Maintenance Engineering for Summer, 2026.
The position is based in Pearl City, HI.
Mission:
Contribute to the preparation of O&M documentation on the basis of internal standards and contractual requirements
Accountabilities:
  • Analyze the field data in order to ensure the definition, for each equipment the maintenance needs, of the correct failure rate.
  • Contribute to the preparation of a field analysis report
  • Contribute to O&M documentation and participate in internal design reviews, including documentation of minutes and actions
  • Contribute to the preparation of O&M Management Plan, Operation Plans, Maintenance Plan, Training plans, Spare Parts and Special Tools list
  • Participate to projects, bidding and delivery phases within project schedule Required skills/experience:
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate complex technical information
  • Strong relevant technical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Education:
  • Current Engineering student at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December, 2026 and December, 2027
Languages:
