Industrial Machine Tool Maintenance Engineer Worksite:

Your mission is to safeguard that reliability—so every lathe, mill, and CNC machine delivers consistent, high-quality performance. What success looks like How will I spend my time? By executing preventive care, completing repairs, and assisting with new equipment installations—always with an eye on safety and uptime. What equipment will I support? Manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes and milling machines. What problems will I solve? Mechanical failures, wear issues, misalignments, and other faults that can stall production—diagnosed quickly and resolved effectively. How do I keep the shop running smoothly? Plan maintenance with production teams to reduce disruption, and keep meticulous records of every inspection, repair, and part replaced. What standards guide the work? Strict adherence to safety regulations and housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, compliant work area. Core responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance and repair activities on lathes, mills, and CNC machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to sustain peak operating efficiency. Document maintenance actions and repair history with precision. Coordinate with production to schedule service without disrupting output. Assist with installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment. Uphold safety protocols and maintain an orderly, clean workspace. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus. Proven experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Experience with CNC systems and advanced manufacturing equipment. Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics. Effective communicator who works well within a team.
