This position will entail the design and production of mechanical systems in commercial, mixed-use, industrial, healthcare, residential and specialty facilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering EIT Certification; on track for PE 4 to 10 years of MEP Consulting design experience Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes and must possess the ability to communicate directly with owners, architects, contractors, power companies, other design professionals and building officials. Candidates must be proficient with AutoCAD and Revit. Perform general engineering tasks under the direct supervision of a senior designer or an engineer including layout and equipment selections. Work with the senior designer or engineer to develop load calculation and scheduling of equipment. Pick up redlines developed by senior designer or engineer. Learn how to review design against applicable design checklists. Participate in occasional construction site visits with senior designer or engineer. Properly save all correspondence and project information in project file. Meet regularly with senior designer or engineer to review/approve design work. #
SRIND Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
