Provides facilities engineering, project engineering, and project management for the buildings and grounds of the plant operations and manufacturing.
Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering (R)
Experience:
5 Years industrial environment (R); 5 years in project management (R)
Areas of Knowledge:
Facilities Engineering (R), Construction (R), Building Materials (R), Concrete (R), Roofing (R), Piping (R), Structural Analysis (R), Underground Utility Locating (R), CAD Drafting (R)
Skills:
Project Management (R), Equipment Trouble Shooting (R), Technical Writing (R), Computer Operation (R), Communication (R), Print Reading (R)
Role Responsibilities :
Plan and monitor the safe implementation of all assigned projects, utilizing internal and external resources, ensure compliance with OSHA Regulations and Plant Safety Policies. Incorporate product quality improvements into project specifications, design or redesign. Incorporate Local, State and Federal environmental regulations into project design, redesign or facility maintenance. Support Manufacturing in implementing modifications to improve productivity. Coordinate all projects with Purchasing to negotiate maximum value at minimum cost. Provide technical support for Maintenance Department, assist when required. Project management, to include supervision, tracking, accounting, auditing. Prepare Authorization for Expenditure for Capital projects Develop work scope, engineering specifications, schedule for all projects Design and/or redesign equipment foundations. Locate underground utilities Engineer the repair and/or modification to buildings and utilities Oversee roadways and roofs Maintain drawings manually and on CAD system Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
