JOB SUMMARY
Facilities Engineer will work as a part of the Facilities Engineering team to plan and coordinate design and construction of facilities, installation of new equipment, renovation and repair of facilities, and various other projects of an architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical nature. Candidates will play a crucial part in solving complex engineering problems involving Textron Aviation facilities, maintenance, processes, systems, and specialized equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(may include, but not limited to): Select and coordinate sub-contractors and consulting engineers to manage facilities design, construction, renovation, & repairs Develop scope of work, cost estimates, project schedules, and provide progress status Ensure equipment and materials for each project meet defined brand standards. Inspect work to ensure compliance to design criteria, safety practices, and all relevant building and safety codes Conduct design evaluations, economic evaluations, and prepare technical reports Lead implementation of capital projects per approved budgets Assist with annual and long-range strategic planning Support and lead energy conservation projects Support and lead equipment installations Utilize AutoCad and other software to update facility drawings & record changes to facilities Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree required in Architectural Engineering, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or other relative field.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, both verbally and in written form with internal and external customers and across all levels throughout the organization. Strong organization and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High attention to detail Great analytical and problem solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Auto
