Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineering professional looking to join a high-volume manufacturing environment supporting aluminum extrusion and pipe bonding processes within a fast-paced industrial operation.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting into Quality Leadership, the Quality Engineer will serve as a technical quality resource supporting manufacturing operations, customer quality initiatives, process improvement activities, and compliance to
IATF/ISO
quality standards within a high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams to support APQP activities, investigate customer concerns, drive corrective actions, and improve overall manufacturing quality performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Systems & Manufacturing Support Support manufacturing operations in achieving quality and policy deployment objectives Assist with development and maintenance of APQP documentation including: Control Plans PFMEAs Flow Charts Inspection Plans Ensure compliance with
IATF/ISO
quality standards and customer-specific requirements Support daily manufacturing quality activities within high-volume production operations Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving Utilize Quality Engineering and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process quality and manufacturing performance Investigate customer concerns and implement containment activities as required Coach and support 8D teams in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation Manage quality improvement action plans and support long-term process improvements Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations Customer & Cross-Functional Support Support customer quality relationships and quality-related communication activities Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Assist with customer audits, quality reporting, and compliance activities Travel as required to support customer or operational needs Required-QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required Minimum 1+ years of experience within high-volume component manufacturing Knowledge of IATF and/or ISO quality systems Strong understanding of: APQP Control Plans PFMEAs Flow Charts 8D Problem Solving Inspection Plans Strong communication and troubleshooting capability U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required Preferred Automotive or HVAC manufacturing experience Aluminum extrusion or metal component manufacturing exposure Six Sigma or continuous improvement exposure Experience supporting customer quality initiatives within manufacturing environments
