Maintenance Engineer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting and maintaining various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities, as well as providing excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including logic controllers, to identify and resolve issues. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, utilizing knowledge of schematics and mechanical principles. Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff or clients regarding maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting various systems. Proficiency in electrical work, including experience with logic controllers. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience in welding is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and clients. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing purposes. Strong supervisory skills to lead maintenance projects effectively.
