We are seeking a highly motivate d Test Engine er to support ou r Supply Chain Outsourci ng an d Product Qualification Initiativ es. This role is critical in ensuring the timely completion of engineering deliverables by providing technical expertise in component testing, supplier collaboration, and design validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, project management, and cross-functional communicatio n.
Key Responsibiliti es:
Analyze component assembly designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using S AP.Initiate and manage design changes and deviations, ensuring timely implementation of released desig ns.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on design simplification and production cycle time reducti on.

Review supplier specifications and manufacturing processes; provide engineering assessments on feasibility, quality, and reliabili ty.

Develop and execute test programs to verify the performance and reliability of chiller components and syste ms.

Coordinate with suppliers and third-party test labs to execute qualification programs; document and report test resul ts.

Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to support design-for-manufacturability principl es.

Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring clear communication of project status to internal and external stakeholde rs.

Provide technical support to suppliers and internal teams including Materials, Quality Control, Engineering, and Safe ty.
Required Qualificati ons:
Educat ion:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (prefer red)Associate degree with extensive relevant experience will also be consid eredExperience & Ski lls:

Experience with product de signStrong understanding of mechanical components: compressors, fans, motors, drives, heat exchangers, valves, wiring, sheet metal, and piping. This can be from practical or academic experie nce.

Excellent verbal and written communication sk illsAbility to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional t eamsFamiliarity with product testing in both in-house and third-party lab environm entsExperience with basic project management t asks Preferred Qualificat ions:

Experience in HVAC or chiller sy stemsExperience with SAP or similar ERP sy stemsKnowledge of international testing standards and qualification prot ocolsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
