Auburn Hills, MI Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance USC only Responsibilities Represent the organization in client meetings, technical reviews, and program discussions Lead development and management of facility design requirements Ensure compliance with UFC standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations Prepare engineering reports, assessments, presentations, and technical documentation Coordinate with government clients, contractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders Apply project management principles to support facility design and construction efforts Review and validate mechanical system designs and engineering calculations
MUST HAVE
Qualifications (Required) Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) License Minimum 7 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer supporting facility design projects Experience working at a Government-Owned OR Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facility OR U.S. Government facility OR U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OR Architectural-Engineering (A/E) firm OR similar federal environment Hands-on experience applying Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements Experience developing, defining, and managing design requirements for new facilities Experience supporting government, industrial, manufacturing, or defense facility projects from concept through design Mechanical systems design experience including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Piping, Controls, and Automation systems Strong communication and presentation skills
