Strategic Commercial Solutions Manager Essential Duties:

Prepare drawings, schematics, and specifications for plumbing and piping systems. Perform standard calculations related to domestic water, vent and gas systems. Route piping, plumbing, and related systems per company standards, showing all components requested and re-route as required. Translate mechanical piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to 3D models. Overlay 3D models of piping, plumbing, and systems designs with other trades. Develop detailed 3D models of mechanical systems including plumbing, piping, and other related components using AutoCAD 3D. Understand how plumbing systems function independently and in coordination with other building systems and controls. Accurately indicate pipe sizes, materials, specifications, notes, and other required information on drawings, factoring in existing fixtures and/or code requirements. Apply applicable plumbing code requirements to designs. Perform calculations for system sizing. Create fabrication drawings from 3D models. Create customer layout drawings from 3D models. Revise existing 3D models. Revise existing drawings. Review physical equipment for projects.

Coordination:

Support sales team and engineers with technical design tasks and documentation. Support engineering, sales and customers during production/commissioning. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input. Identify and promptly communicate issues that need clarification to leadership. Adhere to company and client engineering standards and procedures. Communicate using clear verbal and written communication. Employ a sense of urgency. Qualifications Of legal hiring age and authorized to work in US Completion/pursuit of associates' or bachelor's degree infield (or equivalent) 2 years of experience in plumbing system design for commercial projects Intimate applicable knowledge of

AUTODESK

( AutoCAD ) / SOLIDWORKS CAD The ability to visualize piping and plumbing systems in 3D Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills - both verbal and written. Knowledge of relevant codes (UPC, IPC, local amendments, and ADA) preferred Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
